"Going on my 17th season at the Monkland Tennis Club, it has definitely turned out to be like a second home. Always received with a warm welcome from every member and staff, it’s a sure place to go to relax by the pool, to get a good sweat on the courts or simply to hangout with friends. Having been a part of the Quebec tennis community for many years I can say with confidence that there’s no other place like the MTC."

“The Monkland Tennis Club is a sacred place for so many of its members. With tennis playing an important role in my life for many years, I am proud to say this is where I hit my first ball.”

"I'd have to say the biggest reason is the people. Everyone is so friendly and down to earth there. It's like a big family."
Filip Peliwo2012 Wimbledon Junior Champion & ATP player
"Joining Monkland tennis club on moving to Montréal was the BEST decision! We received a warm welcome and soon felt part of the family. The club provided many opportunities to meet new playing partners whom we now count as friends. In the past two years, I’ve grown as a player thanks to the pros’ first rate coaching both individual and with the Interclub team of which I’m proud to be captain. Roll on Summer at MTC!"
Joanne WestonCaptain of women's level 3 interclub
"For me and my boys, it's one of our favourites of summer. Going to the club is like going on holiday without having to leave the neighbourhood."

I’ve been a tennis playing member of MTC for over 20yrs and I absolutely love it. Welcoming and very social members, a relax and wonderfully pleasant atmosphere, a friendly and serviceable staff. If you love your tennis, you’ll love our club. Come on down and lets get a hit at MTC!
A secret oasis in the heart of NDG, the Monkland Tennis Club was established in 1939 and has been an important part of the Montreal community as well as the Canadian tennis scene for almost 80 years. Our Champions boards read like a who’s who of Canadian tennis history.
